A winter learning opportunity for high school students Students will learn with credentialed teachers in small groups, with targeted support in literacy and math. Enrichment may include financial literacy, social-emotional learning, and the arts.
OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE GRADES
Academic Course Extension (ACE) may be available to high school students when their teacher submits a learning plan/contract. Ask your school/teacher about ACE eligibility.
HOW TO REGISTER
ONLINE
October 15 - December 1, 2026
Complete the Winter Academy registration form in the online Enrollment Portal.
PAPER
Beginning November 16, 2026
Pick-up a paper application from the main office.
NEED TRANSPORTATION?
Register by December 1, 2026, to request transportation.
Healthy meals, transportation, and Beyond the Bell programming will be available. Enrollment confirmation will be provided by December 15, 2026.
SELECTED SCHOOLS will host Winter Academy. At this time, we HAVE NOT YET confirmed whether DMHS will be a host site OR if students will need to attend another location for in-person support. We will share additional information as soon as it becomes available.
