Instructions for Chemistry Project: DUE MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12th, 2018
You are going to design a children’s book about solutions. You will need to make the process understandable for a student that is in the 6th grade.
Requirements
- 5 pages of legal-sized paper folded in half. This will be provided in class.
- It can be done by hand or on the computer
- It needs a front cover with the title and the author’s name
- The second page will be a title page with the title of the book, the author’s name, class (everyone is in Chemistry B) and period
- Each page after the title page must have a page number
Content
- You need to explain the process of dissolving at the molecular level
- You need to explain the difference between solute and solvent
- You need to illustrate the concept of chemical concentration
- You need to explain how heat increases the rate of dissolving
- You need explain how surface area affects dissolving
