The following applies to students that have been selected by the Office of Student Integration Services and received official notification of acceptance to our Magnet School program.
For those selected, submitting pre-enrollment for 2020-21 is necessary.

Please review the attached ENROLLMENT CHECKLIST and THREE LAUSD ENROLLMENT FORMS (ENGLISH) or (SPANISH) for the required documentation for enrollment.
Parents are required to bring enrollment paperwork, especially grades or test scores if coming Outside of LAUSD, to Downtown Magnets High School between:
- Monday - Thursday between the hours of 8:30 am - 12:00 pm, effective Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
You may call the school to inquire about dropping off enrollment forms at (323) 425-9271.
Social Distancing Protocol must be followed when dropping off forms to office personnel.
Action: Confirmation of Classes Suggested By Counseling Team (As of 6.7.20)
Once DMHS receives enrollment paperwork, a counseling team member will review documentation and create a student program that will include the following courses:
4) Physical Education
5) Health or Magnet Elective
6) A-G Elective
In our remote community, we allow incoming families to meet individually (through a telephone conference or Zoom) with a DMHS Counseling Team member to confirm an incoming course schedule.
